Amazon sellers in India ship in more than one way. Some use Easy Ship, where Amazon arranges the pickup and delivery. Others ship the parcel themselves with a courier of their own choice and upload the tracking details. Whichever route you take, the parcel needs a label, and in most cases Seller Central gives you that label as a PDF that is laid out for a normal A4 sheet. The Amazon Label Cropper on this page converts that PDF into a 4x6 inch file so you can print it on a thermal label printer without cutting, pasting or shrinking anything by hand.
It suits Easy Ship and self-ship sellers who want to trim an Amazon shipping label PDF, split the invoice from the label, or fit a thermal roll without scaling errors.
The tool reads every page of your file, finds the printed label, removes the empty margins and places it on a 4 inch by 6 inch page. You can upload a single label or a long batch. The output is one new PDF, with one 4x6 page for each page in the original.
LabelsCropper is an independent project. We are not part of Amazon, we do not have any link to your Seller Central account and we cannot see your orders. You download the label yourself, you choose it from your own device, and the cropped file is saved back to your own device.
An Amazon label PDF often carries more than the label itself. Depending on the shipping option and the document you choose, a page may include the label, a packing slip, an invoice and a block of blank space. If you send that page to a thermal printer, the printer has to decide what to do with a page that is far larger than the sticker. It usually scales everything down, and a barcode that has been scaled to a third of its size may stop scanning at the pickup point.
Printing on plain paper is a safe fallback, but it brings costs of its own. You use a full sheet for each parcel, you need scissors and tape, and an A4 sheet taped to a small box tends to peel off in transit. A courier that cannot read a label will return the parcel or hold it, and every delayed parcel can affect your seller metrics. A properly sized sticker printed on a thermal roll sticks better, scans better and looks more professional.
The cropper is made of a few simple parts, and knowing them makes it easier to get the result you want.
When you choose a file, your browser loads two version-pinned open source libraries hosted with this site: PDF.js to read the file and jsPDF to build the new one. They load only when needed, so the page stays quick to open.
Each page is drawn quietly on a hidden canvas. The tool scans that picture and marks every pixel that is not nearly white. Printed rows are joined into blocks, and a block ends when the tool meets an empty band taller than about 3.5 percent of the page. The first block that is tall enough to be a real label, at least 8 percent of the page height, is chosen in Label only mode. This is how a packing slip below the label is left out and how a small line of header text above it is ignored.
The page is then drawn again, but only the label area is drawn, and it is drawn at a high resolution of about 1200 pixels across. This matters for barcodes, because the thin bars need crisp edges to scan. Drawing only the label area also protects your phone's memory, which is why even long files finish without freezing on most devices.
The cropped picture is placed on a 4x6 inch page with a small safe margin. It keeps its original proportions, so the label is never stretched. After the last page the file is saved. The pages are images, so the text in the output cannot be copied, which is normal for a file made only for printing.
You will see label sizes written in several ways, and it is easy to mix them up. The table shows the same 4x6 size in the units that printer menus and label suppliers use.
| Where you see it | Value for 4x6 |
|---|---|
| Printer paper size menu (inches) | 4 x 6 in |
| Label roll packaging (millimetres) | 100 x 150 mm, in practice about 101.6 x 152.4 mm |
| PDF page size (points) | 288 x 432 pt |
| 203 dpi printer resolution | 812 x 1218 dots |
| 300 dpi printer resolution | 1200 x 1800 dots |
If your printer lists both 4x6 inch and 100 x 150 mm, either choice works with the cropped file, because the difference is only about 1.6 mm in width and 2.4 mm in height. What matters more is that the printer is set to the paper size of the roll that is actually loaded, and that scaling is turned off.
A note on other Amazon labels: product labels such as FNSKU stickers and inbound box labels for fulfilment centre shipments are different documents with their own rules. This tool crops any simple PDF label to 4x6, so you can try it on them, but always follow the instructions that Amazon gives for those labels and check the preview before printing.
If you have never used a thermal printer before, these steps will save you a lot of wasted labels.
Direct thermal printers use heat-sensitive paper, so labels fade if left in a hot place for months. If you need labels to last, keep rolls in a cool, dry spot and print only what you will ship soon.
If Amazon changes its label layout, the cropper's detection will usually still work because it looks at the printed content rather than at fixed coordinates. If a new layout does not crop well, try the other crop mode and a different padding value.
Every Amazon shipping label has a buyer's name, address and phone number on it. That is personal data you are responsible for protecting. The Amazon Label Cropper never uploads your PDF. It is opened and edited in your browser, and the new file is built there too. We have no server that receives your label, so there is nothing for us to store, share or lose.
The page loads its PDF libraries and styles from this website. Those requests do not include your label. The privacy policy explains this and also describes how advertising cookies work on this site.
You may also want the Flipkart Label Cropper, the Ajio Label Cropper or the PDF Label Cropper if you sell on more than one marketplace.
The default output is 4x6 inches, but the Output size menu above the upload box also offers 100 x 150 mm, A6, A5, 3 x 5 in, 4 x 4 in and a custom width and height in millimetres. If you print on an ordinary office printer, choose an A4 sheet with 2 or 4 labels and the tool arranges the labels on each sheet so you can cut them apart. The size you pick is remembered on this device.
If your Amazon PDF has the invoice printed below the label, tick the option to save the invoice part as a separate PDF. The label file downloads as usual, and a Download invoices PDF button appears with the invoice parts on A4 pages. This works in Label only mode and needs a clear empty gap between the label and the invoice. If none is found, the tool tells you.
Order volume on Amazon is not steady. Festive sales, month-end offers and brand promotions can double or triple the number of parcels a small seller has to ship in a single day. Label printing is one of the first places where a weak process shows up, so it is worth planning ahead.
Start by deciding how many labels go into one PDF. A file of 40 to 80 labels is easy to check by eye, quick to crop and simple to print in one go. A file with 200 labels is allowed by the tool, but a single mistake such as a wrong printer setting wastes far more labels. Many sellers cut their day into rounds, for example one round before lunch for the morning pickup and one in the afternoon for the evening pickup, and crop each round as its own file.
Next, make sure you have enough supplies before the busy period begins. A 4x6 roll holds a few hundred labels, so a seller doing 300 parcels a day needs several rolls a week. Keep at least one spare roll next to the printer, plus a spare ribbon if you use a thermal transfer printer. Running out in the middle of a pickup window is the most common cause of late dispatch.
It also helps to name your files clearly before you crop them. Save each downloaded PDF with the date and the round, such as the date followed by morning or evening. The cropped file is saved as labelscropper-4x6-labels.pdf, so rename it straight away if you plan to keep it. Clear names make it easy to find the right file if a courier asks you to reprint a label later in the day.
Finally, think about returns and reshipping. If a parcel comes back and you need to send it out again, download a fresh label rather than reusing the old one, because the tracking number on an old label may no longer be valid. Crop the new label the same way and print it as usual.
Yes. There is no fee, no watermark and no sign-up. There is no fixed page-count or file-size cap. Very large PDFs depend on available browser/device memory. The site is supported by advertising.
It works with the PDF that you download, which is the same kind of file whichever shipping option produced it. If your Easy Ship PDF has the label on top and other documents below, Label only mode keeps the label.
Yes. If your courier's label arrives as a PDF, the tool can crop it to 4x6 the same way. It looks at the printed content, not at the name of the courier.
No. Your file is read and cropped inside your browser. It is never sent to our servers, and we cannot see it.
By default each page is 4 x 6 inches, which is 288 x 432 PDF points and about 101.6 x 152.4 mm. It suits TSC, Zebra and other 4x6 thermal printers.
Each label is redrawn at about 300 dpi and saved as an image so that barcodes stay sharp. Images cannot be selected, but they print and scan normally.
You can try, because the tool crops any simple PDF label. Those labels have separate rules from Amazon, so follow Amazon's instructions and check the preview before you print.
In Label only mode, a section below the label is left out when there is a clear empty gap between the two. If there is no clear gap, the tool cannot tell them apart, and you can print the slip separately.

Yes. The Output size menu offers 100 x 150 mm, A6, A5, 3 x 5 in, 4 x 4 in, a custom width and height in millimetres, and A4 sheets with 2 or 4 labels. Your choice is remembered on your device.
Yes. Tick the option to save the invoice part as a separate PDF. In Label only mode, the tool gives you the label file as usual and a second button for the invoice pages when it finds an invoice below the label with a clear gap.
